MB13 Testing with the FLIR MR59 Moisture Meter

Gogo has observed that some MB13s have been installed in a manner that allows water to pool on top of the base plate of the antenna where the gore vent is located. This improper installation results in the standing water being sucked into the antenna through the gore vent when the aircraft is descending. One of the ways to determine whether or not water may be inside an MB13 is to use a FLIR MR59 Moisture Meter.
